About Kim ThunderKim, a South African based photographer specializes in photographing lifestyles, food, fashion, people and travel images. He is equally at home in his fully equipped studio near the east coast city of Durban in South Africa as he is on location.His passion for photography has taken him on assignments across the globe to places like New York, Mauritius, Tanzania, Mozambique, Pemba, Maputo, Switzerland, the arctic circle to name a few and places closer to home like Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Richards Bay, Knysna and Pietermaritzburg.In 1989 he qualified with a national diploma in photography and he has been freelancing ever since, with a client base as large as it is diverse, including advertising agencies, magazines, corporate and private clients. His work has appeared in publications the world over, as well as instore campaign's in Europe and South America for the likes of Unilever and American cola. He has also photographed a few cook books and is currently working on a coffee table book with internationally recognised landscaper, Jan Blok.
